First, I would like to introduce myself. I'm Esperanza Peral, I'm 20 years old and I'm a third year student of the double degree of Primary Education and English Studies at the University of Málaga.

This blog has been created mainly for the subject of Didactics of Geometry, but it will surely be much more useful and reach more places! Or so I hope :)

As you can see, the blog is called Geometry for Beginners, alluding to the TV programme that some of us have surely seen at some point: Science of Stupid. But in this case, I will show cases of everyday life in which geometry is present and perhaps we are not able to see it. So I hope to give you a mathematical and geometrical view of the world, because from here everything will change.

In addition, I will add activities and resources that can be used in the Primary classroom to transmit this passion for geometry to the youngest children.

After this brief introduction, I hope you enjoy this blog and learn as much as I have by doing it.
